This is a birthday cake for someone who is a cowboy at heart :) For the cowboy theme, I made the hat, a pair of cowboy boots, lariat (the rope), horseshoe and a personalized badge out of fondant. I put some cacti to match the scene. To give a ranch effect, I sprinkled a mixture of chocolate chip cookie crumble and brown sugar on top of the cake.
