Designer Purse cake

This is a designer purse cake done for a birthday girl. Usually ladies carry in their bags, the various cosmetics shown but this one contains a speeding ticket. This person was recently given a speeding ticket and was being made fun of all the time for it. Looks like the embarrassment continues :P

It would have been much easier to do the lipstick, nail polish and eye shadow in fondant but I decided to make it more edible. So I cut those items out of cake, frosted with chocolate buttercream and covered with fondant.

Devilish Chocolate

This is a Devil's food cake with chocolate buttercream frosting prepared for a birthday party. I had a hard time to stop myself from devouring it all.

Chocolate Fudge Layer cake

This is a chocolate fudge two layer cake frosted with semi sweet chocolate. The cake is covered with fresh strawberries and slivered almonds. This was made for a dinner party.

Fresh Fruit cake

This is a fresh fruit cake. I used strawberries, kiwi, peaches and cherry. I wanted to use chiffon cake but went with the angel food cake instead. The cake is layered and filled with vanilla flavored whipped cream and loaded with fresh fruits. I used the remaining whipped cream to frost the whole cake and made a floral arrangement on top using the fruits. The empty space on the side was used to write the birthday message using a chocolate frosting.
